Earl Hines nagrał w St.Louis swoje "Boogie Woogie", najbardziej zaś kasowa okazała się płyta Tommy Dorsey'a zatytułowana po prostu "Boogie Woogie". Cab Calloway nagrał "Goog It", zaś Ella Mae Morse sprzedała niwo powstałej w 1942 roku Capitol Records swój pierwszy wielki hit "Cow Cow Boogie".
Uznane gwiazdy również nie pozostały bierne. The Andrew Sisters wydały dwie piosenki pop "Rhumboogie" i "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" w 1941 roku, a piosenkę zatytulowaną "The Boogie Wooglie Piggy" nagrał Glen Miller.
